Christine
Great price and good location. The room was comfortable and clean, plus the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The view of the city was amazing from the hotel's terrace.
The staff was not very helpful, and they seemed bothered by our questions. Unfortunately, the pool area was not well maintained, and there were broken tiles in the pool.

Located near the center, this hotel is perfect for exploration. Close to the river, rooms offer beautiful views of the town's scenery. Rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are pleasant. Breakfast has a good selection of food with a beautiful presentation. Staff members are friendly, and the swimming pool is amazing.
The heating can be a problem as the AC takes 30 minutes to warm the room.

Very kind staff. Lovely building and lovely landscape. Good for relaxing. Very small free access to gymnasium, with only three essential machines.
Check-out time at 12am with no extra minute in a low season. Spa have an extra cost, to have our own private time as explained by the staff! In my room the floor was making some noise near the bed, but nothing to worry about. Very poor noise isolation among rooms, we can hear everything.

A beautifully converted building, lovely rooms and great food. Staff professional, friendly and very helpful. Facilities also excellent - lovely pool, tennis court and good fun minigolf for all the family. The town of Moncao also has a good atmosphere and setting by the River Minho a bonus, and the centre such a short walk from the hotel. Also, all feels genuinely Portuguese. Would love to go back, and don't hesitate to recommend.

We travelled to the hotel as a quick getaway and also to have a look into the Portuguese country side so the location was very important. The hotel is set in a beautiful old convent surrounded by well established gardens and a good view into Moncao, the facilities also included a lovely outdoor pool. The hotel restaurant was very well set up in the old building with a good menu serving delicous food. Hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was included in the price and was truly excellent serving good local produce.

It was clean and tidy and you have a nice path into town. Practical association of two double rooms for the family.
We expected to stay in the historic building and were a little disappointed to be referred to the modern bungalow. However, it was not a major problem. We were almost the only guests in late October, the breakfast buffet was therfor not great and fresh.

Great homemade breakfast with pancakes, cakes and various jams. Conveniently located within walking distance of downtown and a short drive from other towns. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a quiet environment.
On the expensive side for the room rate.

Mooi gelegen gerestaureerd klooster met moderne bijbouw. mooi ontwerp en mooie tuinen. Ideaal gelegen voor een verkenning van de omliggende wijnstreek.
Het avondeten in het restaurant van het hotel viel tegen. (opgewarmd vlees ?)
